Summer Care Enrollment

Registration for the 2019 Summer Program will begin in April.


There are several steps for those interested in enrolling a child in the SACC Summer Program:
          1.  Call the Center (423-378-2467)  to request a pre-placement visit or to set up a time to pick up the necessary forms. 
          2.  You will need to send in your completed application and emergency card with the non-refundable summer registration/materials fee of $25.00 to reserve a space for your child. 
          3.  Speak with the Director about a transition process that will meet the needs of your child and to work out any scheduling details. 


 
2019 Summer Rates
(May 24 - August 2)
SACC hours are 6:30 am – 6:00 pm

 
Full Time                                                                         $500/mo. 
A vacation discount is available for those who qualify, speak with Ms. Donna for more details.
May and August days will be billed on a daily rate.

 
Part Time                                         (3 days/wk.)        $90.00/wk.
                                                            (2 days/wk.)        $60.00/wk.

You will be billed according to the plan chosen regardless of whether your child attends or not (except for vacation).
 
Drop In                                                                            $30.00/day
(Space available basis)
 
Half Day                                                                          $15.00/day
(5 hours or less)
 
Drop in students will be required to call in advance to see if space is available.  Unless the student is registered as a full time or part time student, space is not guaranteed. 

There will be NO second child discount.

Summer SACC will be CLOSED on May 27th, May 28th, July 4th, & July 5th.
Info to Know
How you can help:
*Be sure to read any information that is posted at the sign out desk or on the website.
*Be aware of the field trips for each week and pay at least one day in advance.
*Do not be afraid to ask questions if something is unclear.
Pick up & Drop off Procedures:
*The SACC doors are locked at all times.  If you arrive any time between 9:30 and 2:00, there is a good possibility that the SACC office will be vacant. If you find that no one answers the SACC door, access to the building will be through the main entrance. We will post a notice on the sign in sheet as to the group's location. Certainly, communication is key for this kind of situation. If you know that you will pick up or drop off between 9:30 & 2:00, please notify the staff and we will do our best to ensure that someone is here to let you in.
*Sign your child in each morning and out in the afternoon by recording the time and your initials.
*Check the parent board or SACC website daily for any important news or updates.  Check your parent mail boxes often for bills or receipts.
*Be sure to pick up your child before the center closes at 6:00.
*In the event that your child needs medication while at SACC, please ensure that you have completed the proper medication forms. (Check with Mrs. Donna or Ms. Mary regarding necessary forms and procedures)
*Send a sleeping bag or blanket for “chill out time”.

Scheduling & Payments:
*Call in advance to check if space is available for your child if you have chosen the “drop-in” option.
*Fill out the “Vacation Notice” form to let us know when your child will be out.
*Pay for your child care in a timely fashion.  Payment for Full/Part time children is due by the 5th of each month.  Payment for Drop-In children is due on the day your child attends our program.
Dress:
*Have your child wear their SACC Summer T-shirt on ALL field trips.
*Apply sunscreen on your child before attending child care, and pack sunscreen with your child’s belongings.
*Make sure that your child is dressed appropriately in play clothes.
*Send a change of clothes with your child, if necessary.
Lunch:
*If your child is not participating in the summer feeding program please send a lunch and drink with your children every day. *Lunches should be kept in an insulated container and placed in your child’s basket.  Please do not send microwave lunches or food that requires refrigeration. 
* Always send a drink and any necessary utensils your child might need to eat lunch.  We do not keep an extra supply of forks, spoons, etc.
Field Trips:
*Send field trip money SEPARATE from Tuition Payment.
*Refrain from sending extra spending money for field trips unless otherwise specified.
*Please arrive 30 minutes before departure time to ensure that your child makes it for ro.

Electronics:
*Electronics may be brought to SACC by all children.   Only to be used at designated times. Washington BYOD rules apply.
